About Ross

Ross Meador has been negotiating and drafting business agreements for over 25 years. His practice currently focuses on securities law, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, and intellectual property law. Mr. Meador provides general company counseling including organization, financing and business transactions, strategic relationships, and the protection and licensing of intellectual property. He has represented large companies including Microsoft, Facebook, and Mercedes Benz, as well as lesser-known ventures that have achieved substantial success.
Mr. Meador spent many years working in large prestigious law firms, initially with Morrison & Foerster and most recently as a Partner with K&L Gates. He also has substantial international experience, having practiced law in Korea, Indonesia and Vietnam for ten years. He was elected President of the Korean American Chamber of Commerce for the North Pacific Coast, and also served as Vice Chair of the US Vietnam Chamber of Commerce, and Chairman of the Legal Services Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea. He has been a member of the Executive Committee of the International Section of the California Bar Association since 2002.
In his spare time, Mr. Meador serves as Entrepreneur in Residence at California State University Fullerton, where he mentors students and teaches the lean business model. Mr. Meador is a frequent public speaker and has delivered presentations to the California Bar Association, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Haas School of Business. Mr. Meador’s humanitarian work includes opening the wartime office of Friends of Children of Vietnam, which has been nominated twice for the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Mr. Meador attended law school at UC Berkeley’s Boalt Hall where he served as Executive Editor of the International Tax & Business Law journal, Vice President of the International Law Society, and received the SK Yee Scholarship award.
