About Mitchell
Mitchell earned full-tuition merit scholarships for his entire post-secondary education, then successfully raised funding to launch CiviWiki.org. He recently moved to Seattle, following the passage of updated intrastate equity crowdfunding legislation. The new rules make it possible for Washington based businesses to raise up to one-million dollars in investments from Washington State residents; without costly federal filings. Mitchell counsels entrepreneurs on all legal issues relevant to launching, maintaining, and growing a business; but focuses on helping startups raise the funding they need to succeed. As a former Hult Prize regional finalist, Mitchell also has a particular interest in social enterprises, and their potential synergies with equity crowdfunding. See more at westlinelaw.com.
