About Mark

I’m looking for intelligent and passionate individuals who want to be part of something greater than themselves. Our startup, MyGigline is simplifying military life, by personalizing the journey. In short we are solving the communication problem of available resources for military, veterans and their family members. Resources include nonprofits, government services and local businesses. Think Angie's List meets Stumbleupon for niche communities (See below for a further description).

Current Status: I was recently accepted into the TechStars Rising Stars progam, as well as, completed the 12-week VETransfer Accelerator Program, a part of the Global Accelerator Network. We have started user testing and plan to launch our beta next month. I have several leads to interested investors, but would first like to build a great team.

As for the type of team members, I'm open to individuals with different skill sets, as long as they are highly self-motivated and can contribute to quickly growing and scaling the company.

Here is a brief overview:

MyGigline is a “discovery” site that provides a social information network and review aggregate for the 50+ million members of the military community. Our goal is to personalize the military journey by connecting individuals with local events, services, and special programs for both their military and social life. Unlike other military-centric websites, our highly interactive platform tailors resources based on an individual’s location, needs and personal interests.

The site will be unlike anything that is currently available for the military community. Additionally, it will offer multiple revenue streams with a large niche market that will be easy to reach. At scale, MyGigline will expand into other large communities that have a common bond, but are seeking services to meet their individual needs. These communities include, but are not limited to, law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs and other uniformed government agencies.
