About Lana

Sailing is one of my favorite hobbies; I could sail almost anywhere, not just metaphorically, even in uncharted waters and under uncertain circumstances.

Professionally, I enjoy pursuing stimulating roles and complex opportunities, something which – over the course of 15+ years – led to a career rich with experiences and learnings, from:

- Successfully Founding, operating, scaling and divesting a successful food processing business with multiple product lines and varieties of pre-packaged shelf-stable French crepes, to
- Working my way up the corporate ladder to leadership roles with global responsibilities in strategic finance, transformation and re-engineering, operations management, or business intelligence, to
- Evaluating and implementing small to large-scale investments, including a Fortune 100 company’s manufacturing footprint in Asia, and a multinational company’s commercial subsidiary in East Africa, or
- Managing a global non-profit organization from its New York City headquarters in a Chief Operating Officer capacity

As a passion, mentoring entrepreneurs at different stages of their business lifecycle helped me understand several of the challenges and issues that startups face. I also serve as a steering committee member of the Alumnae Network for Harvard Women in New York.

Reach out if you want to talk to me about entrepreneurship, strategic thinking, financial management, operations management, business intelligence or sailing.
