First time founder
About me and what I'm looking for: I’ve been described as a visionary and as a dedicated leader, but my passion has always been at the intersection of technology, community engagement, and leadership innovation. That is what has driven me to become a three-time student government president, a top-rated Deloitte technology strategist, a board member of several community organizations, and a global civil society activist. Throughout my life, I have believed that every person should have the ability to influence the communities that they are a part of. That’s ultimately why I left the comforts of a career at Deloitte to pursue Powerline. Right now, more than ever, the world needs purposeful technology that can strengthen meaningful engagement and empower leaders and communities to lead, mobilize, organize, engage, and interact effectively through all the noise. Leaders and everyday people alike need a better solution to collaborate, coordinate, and act on the issues, causes, and topics that matter most in their communities. Almost hourly, the news provides another example of how some community, some organization, or some effort could use our mobile app and web platform.
If you’re interested in working on something meaningful, on something that can fundamentally change the world at a time when we need it most, we need to talk! We want to bring Powerline to schools, non-profits, towns, businesses, and all other kinds of communities around the world by delivering an exceptional, social communications platform that strengthens the relationships between leaders and communities with unparalleled focus, minimal friction, and extraordinary value. Our product is currently in closed beta testing, and we’ve had very encouraging conversations with potential customers and partners alike.
Are you the right person to join us as we move forward? We’re on the ground floor looking for a talented web programmer that can wear multiple hats, help us grow, and personally grow along with our small, but global team. Although our web platform will be your primary responsibility and playground, we’ll want you to collaborate on business development, support our sales and support operations, and/or contribute to our marketing efforts, too. Your passions are important to us, so we’ll be looking to understand how you can complement and supplement our team. We prize responsibility, integrity, a commitment to results, personal fulfillment, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and an open and honest culture.
Sounds interesting? Let’s talk!
