About Jeffrey

I've already learned something on CoFoundersLab, thanks in part to Josh Wenner's excellent class. I do not want a Cofounder after all! It's time for me to stand up for myself and be Founder.

That being said, I was a Major in the US Army, started and ran a successful construction business for 20 years, and earned an MBA along the way. I also started a social enterprise in Denver, 2015-2018 which did not gain traction (i.e. it failed).

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: I'm starting a national organization, tentatively entitled "Rising Dawn Ministries" whose job it is to start "Community Music and Arts Centers" in small towns across the American South.

-It will be a social enterprise rather than 501c3.
-Each local CMAC will be locally owned by the membership. Dividends will be paid quarterly back to all the members, including 10% to Rising Dawn.
-The focus is business, jobs, and helping families.
-We will be accomplishing the "community building" function which society desperately needs. The two traditional organizations responsible for community building - religion and politics - have become divisive and there's nothing out there right now to stand in the gap. People are just apart and alone.
