About Gabe

Gabe is a startup founder, mobile engineer, API junky & builder of things.

In 2017 he soft launched Longtail Music, a network for Internet Radio Stations focused on helping listeners find something they'll love, curated by real people. Currently looking for somebody with complimentary skills to join Longtail and explore applying for TechStars Music in 2018.

He was the founder of Hollrback, a data exchange and management platform utilizing mobile to allow people to create and manage contact information based on the event and context in which they met. Top 8 finalist in TechStars'​ 2011 "Startup Madness"​ tournament.

He was also the developer of popular project PandoraFM, featured in tech blogs such as TechCrunch and magazines such as PC World as one of β€œThe Web's Most Useful Sites.”

Senior Software Engineer


June 2014 - December 2015

Lead mobile engineer on Rdio Live, a project to bring live radio to Rdio launched in August 2015. Was focused on the next generation of the Rdio playback pipeline in Objective-c and Swift. Acquired by Pandora in December, 2015.

Lead mobile developer


April 2013 - June 2014

Sole developer of the TastemakerX client on iOS. Worked with our visual designer to design a clean, simple to use, and user-focused product that allows users to manage, view, and listen to TastemakerX. Met with Apple evangelists periodically to go over design and implementation suggestions. Acquired by Rdio in June, 2014.
