As a type II diabetic, I am always trying to figure better ways to manage this curse for myself and others. Right now I have a portable insulin cooler I am promoting on Quirky. A few years back I tried to get a diabetes management app developed, but my efforts were unsuccessful.
At the moment, I’m trying to make something that will have a global impact on diabetes. I call it The Athletic Diabetic Society. For participating diabetics, it uses a small teams comprised of friends, family, volunteers, and professionals who work to coach and even persuade that person to exercise and better manage what they eat.
