About Craig

Currently, I oversee mobile marketing strategy, mobile media buying and mobile business development across Mindshare’s (under the WPP/GroupM Umbrella) North American client base. I started my mobile life at Sony Music, where I built the Catalog Division's first dedicated mobile sales (lots of ringtone sales/distribution) and marketing team (artist sites, apps, consumer facing engagement platforms). I actually oversaw the launch of the first Sony artist's mobile optimized web site for Michael Jackson. After Sony, I moved to the agency side, first at Starcom MediaVest and now at Mindshare. At MediaVest, I led mobile planning and strategy for P&G.

At Mindshare, I'm building our North American Mobile Practice. I began on Sprint's mobile marketing and have now transitioned to leading mobile strategy, buying and business development 10-15 brands on any given day in our NYC, Chicago and LA offices. More recently, I’ve been deeply immersed in the mobile ad space specifically working with ad exchanges, mobile DSP’s, audience-buying platforms and programmatic/algorithmic buying techniques. Mobile tracking and measurement is also a newly found pet passion. I know far more about these specific areas than I ever thought I would. But, my real passion is around tangible mobile strategy and experimentation - I love to use mobile to drive measurable business results and I want to provide consumers with real utility through the phone.

I’m looking to step into a more overall strategic management position for a company focused on the mobile space. I enjoyed holding P&L accountability for a large revenue stream at Sony and am eager to step back into the corporate side
where I can drive business through pioneering mobile strategies.

I'm open to a number of roles and different companies but I need to find a management team who believes in mobile and is willing to put their money where their mouths are. This could be at a B2C mobile platform/start-up or in-house at a brand/business who will put significant resources into their mobile marketing/business development.
