Since starting E.B. Howard Consulting, in 2013, we have secured well over $60M in non-dilutive funding (e.g., SBIR/STTR funding). We have completed hundreds of proposals and project/program evaluations for our clients, as required by various funding agencies.

Organizations that choose to work with us have a common goal to develop, fund, and implement innovative STEM-based solutions to various social, cultural, educational, or environmental issues by secure funding for R&D projects through various federal funding agencies (e.g., SBIR/STTR).

Unlike most of our competitors, we do not take incentive fees, contingency fees, or success fees. We uphold the ethics of the Grant Professional Association (GPA), follow Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and follow the federal government's Uniform Guidance regulations §200.209.

On average, we provide a return of ~$58 for every $1 spent on SBIR/STTR Phase I proposal preparation costs. For other federal funding, outside of SBIR/STTR - where the proposal budgets are multi-year, we provide a return well over a $100 for every $1 spent.

I am passionate about equality in the funding space for women and minority-owned start-ups. So passionate, that in 2014, I started compiling a list of various investment firms that will NOT make a funding decision based on your AGE, GENDER, or ETHNICITY.

In 2020, the next evolution of my passion is/was the launch of StartupFundHub.com - a self-service subscription database for non-dilutive funding. Our COVID-19 database is open to the public.
