First time founder
I am a graphic designer - I work for myself and my business, Paine in the Arts Design, is starting to grow traction. My issue is that my main source of revenue is through print design. Print is a dying art so I need to make a change.
I have an idea... I know that everyone thinks they have a billion dollar app idea but I really think that this one is the exception. If you knew me you would know that I don't go into these things lightly. I know how hard it is to work for yourself and after 2 years I have become a "small business", in a dying industry that is saturated with cheaper options.
It could potentially lead to a whole different way of learning and teaching. A way to cash in on the cheaper options market by teaching people to teach themselves. I have meetings setup with developers to set the final app and business plan but as far as I am aware, it is an Australian first in the EduTech industry. The idea is more than just an app. More than happy to go more in depth with interested partners.

Paine in the Arts is a boutique graphic design studio specialising in retail, corporate event and campaign design. We are committed to creating high quality results for our clients. December 2014 - July 2016
As senior designer, I was head of the creative department for The Printers. The role consisted of mentoring 3 designers and ensuring that the quality of work that was produced was on brand, in style and to client expectations. 90% of the work created was retail and fashion based. Westfield, Mirvac, Raine & Horne and Stocklands shopping centres being our main clientele. Not only did I create print and digital artwork for season campaigns, I was also in charge of creating concepts, project management, art direction and account management.
November 2012 - June 2014
Working within the marketing department designing in club collateral such as posters, banners, web assets, publications, flyers, corporate identity and much more. Worked closely with all 7 clubs owed by Mounties Group to create collateral for their promotions, events etc.
