About Alex

Everyone here is looking for new ideas that can `disrupt an industry`, but it is difficult to come up with an idea that will be successful and be accepted by wide range of customers. These risks can be minimized if you bring new better tools while staying in line with what customers expect.

For example, US market for business management software is enormous. The most well known players are SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, Dynamics, Sage, QuickBooks, and hundreds of smaller solution providers.
But if you ask business how they can describe their experience with business apps - it will pretty much the same issues: too expensive to buy and implement, difficult to customize and change while business changes, too complex to use, outdated and too expensive to upgrade.
All these issues can be solved by software that is not presented in US, but has proved success in Eastern Europe.

1C:Enterprise is the first ERP framework that can really disrupt business apps industry in US.
1C:Enterprise is extremely successful platform for business applications in Eastern Europe with 20 years of development history. Over 1 million businesses use it for various business needs. It has no real competition in SMB, and now rapidly growing in enterprise level, where the main competitors include SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, Microsoft Dynamics.
It affordable and scalable technology that is suitable for any size of companies and offers quick returns of investments.
Usually total cost of ownership of 1C:Enterprise 5-10 times lower than made-to-order solutions, SAP or Oracle business applications, while implementation period is 2-3 times faster.

Currently I live in San Francisco and am looking for any opportunities to expand this successful platform for ERP applications in the United States.
