I have same question. “Dozen of meetups” is nice, but I didnt have time yet to visit at least one. If someone would be kind enough to recommend one, “new best meetup”, I’d go
There are several dozen Meetups every single month in NYC for entrepreneurs. Keep joining and visiting until you find ones that resonate with you.
One Million Cups is a great organization that can connect you with other entrepreneurs. They have them all over just and hopefully one in your area.
Meetups is another great site to find events and as Paul said there are dozens.
@Dima, if you don't have time to even research the meetups yourself, the frequency with which they meet, how long they've been around, how the members rate the meetup group(s), we're not here to do your homework for you. DISCUSS is about discussing how to do something. It's not a referral list. There's no one here who can make the best recommendation of the group for you to join, because we don't know your personality, the composition of the groups available, and what you're expecting to get out of them, or which environment is most suited to your style. Meetup provides many insights for each group on which would be ideal for your situation. Get on it. Making excuses isn't going to move you forward.
Thanks very much my fellow New Yorker, let's keep this conversation going, already there's 3 of us that can organize a meetup in NYC!
