I am consulting for a friend of mine, he is working on a project and he needs to reach out to fast food restaurants. In order to convince them to adopt his new type of payment system which can help them reduce wait time in line and increase up sells of products. I was wondering if anyone of any good ways to approach this product or if there has been any successful marketing attempted at this in the past?

Thanks everyone in advance :)

You should do an ad campaign in LinkedIn and use Adwords, display and search. Enviado desde mi iPhone

Most fast food chains operate on a franchise model. There are professionals and professional organizations that do nothing but match potential franchisees with the corporate offices. The one I know is Frannet. They have different people throughout the country. You might try to contact those consultants and see with whom you can get in touch at corporate. They might be able to help you identify the decision-makers.

If you are targeting big fast food chain operations, you need to have a good working product why they should consider your products/services before you can even approach them.

When it comes to technology, restaurants always have been a slow adapter. I would suggest to start with few smaller fast food restaurants because they are most likely to give it a try. Restaurants get their supplies from vendors, so you can be friend with the vendors and ask them for the introduction. Don't sell them anything util you get to know them. Don't over promise and if they like your services, ask them for referrals. Or you can use their case studies and testimonials to go after the big guys.

Hope this helps!

I was recently attempting to get in touch with large FF chains at the corporate level, and the gatekeepers are very good. I would suggest researching the largest franchisee in his area and speaking with them.. It is not easy, but most FF chain owners are very hands on, so they can be found at the restaurant regularly.

Hope that helps.

I would say email them.

I'm assuming you mean fast food places that are corporate so I would suggest using tools like and kickbox to find the individuals email at these corporations who makes these decisions. LinkedIn would be a great tool to use to identify them.

If you don't know the title in the organization who makes these decisions then I would recommend just finding someone through the same process above that help answer that question first.

Hope that helps!
