What is the best credit card for start-ups? We plan to avoid interest but may need it to bridge

May 19th, 2014

Hi, we currently use Amex and we are tired of it not being accepted at several places while traveling and some of the SaaS services we pay for.  Key features would be acceptance, cash back/dividends, and very low interest rates with long terms if we need to fund some equipment purchases.  What are your non Amex recommendations?

The best credit card is a debit card.  Unless you've already been funded and kept a large average balance for a while you'll have to personally guarantee any credit card anyway.  Making it a debit card makes you watch the cash expenditures in a very different -- and much better -- way that correlates with successful CEO's.
