Hello Fellow Cofounders, I wanted to ask what are your go to tools for startup product management? Did you find any online tools to help out in the startup process? If so could you share them?
I have used aha.io in the past and am currently using a new tool I've found called craft.io. It's worth taking a look at them both and comparing the two to see which one suits your needs better.
craft.io - They're a startup, and their app has a really good looking, easy to use, intuitive interface. They focus on product management.
I hope that helps!
I think using something simple that works at the beginning is great, even Trello might be enough.
Once you get to growth stage and get so much feedback you need to hire staff to manage it, its hard to keep your finger on the pulse all the time if you're not using something thats built for the purpose.
To the tools mentioned, I would add Product Board
For a startup, nothing is more important than making sure everyone on the team is on the right track. As you grow you want to have the ability to manage and monitor your team's collaborative efforts in the most efficient way possible. Here are the great for startups that should help you and your team work much more efficiently.
I used trello tool for product management. This is best tool and easy to use.
Great! Thanks Everyone. I also came across this online tool. unicornstarters.com
We are using Kanbanchi
I started out with MockPlus. It's nearly as easy as paper or whiteboarding with some level of design and UI simulation. You can quickly sketch out concepts without getting bogged down in too much detail or with learning a complex application.
Check this: https://www.pi.team/blog/2017/04/10/5-steps-used-build-saas-product/ This is what we used to build our product https://www.pi.team - simple accounting and invoicing.
To summarize: I would suggest
2. Laravel (check https://laracasts.com/)
5. Chat scrip
Depends on what you need, but Zoho One (https://www.zoho.com/one/) is an integrated suite of apps that help you with managing your business from Project Management to CRM to accounting. Costs $360/year per user which is a pretty good deal as you get access to over 35 apps. I've been using Zoho's suite of products for years. However, it may be overkill for what you need right now though.
For a simpler, more cost effective way to manage your startup process, you could use a task list manager. I like Todoist - https://todoist.com/
I just started using Target Process ( https://www.targetprocess.com/ ). Seems pretty good so far and the free version is sufficient at this time since my project and organization are still small. I don't know about anyone else, but I have a hard time handing over my credit card in order to merely try out a tool.
