Looking for a CRM - customer relationship management - for a small non-profit organization?

I am looking for a CRM (customer relationship management) software for a small non profit-organization, 10-15 people.

The main purpose is to keep track of people each team member interact with (entrepreneurs, mentors, partners) and share information and past interactions, especially as the organization is growing.

We need simple features such as filters, search engine, link people with organizations.

Ideally not an expensive option.

I am looking for feedbacks and/or advice about the CRM you are using!

HubSpot's CRM is free to use and has quite a bit of features. They have a pro version too, but you may not even have to use them for your uses. It's pretty good. I'd definitely check it out if I were you, especially since you're a non-profit and need to save every dollar you can.

I LOVE Insightly. They have a free and low cost option. The great thing about Insightly is it is not only a CRM but also a project management tool, which will allow you to better set up and track tasks and project progression.

Salesforce Gives Non-Profits 10 free licenses. They are the leader in the CRM space, and have plenty of appExchange partners to extend the platform.

Although it is a convenient CRM in many prospects, there are some limitations represented by its complexity and pricing models.The one more limitation is that it doesn’t provide the opportunity to track calls directly from mobile app. However there is a way to do it. Call Tracker for Salesforce is a cool way to do it. You should try it!

You will probably won't find anything more easier to use than CRM. It requires no time or effort to set-up and is exactly what you need.

Save contacts, notes, or files for each customer, set reminders to follow up, use smart search or filters to get subset of customers.

And it's inexpensive as well or free if you don't have a lot of records.

ZoHo CRM is pretty sleek as well. Also free and low cost options. Integrates with email so there is a reliable record of communication with customers.

Thanks everyone who gave an answer to this question! Thanks for sharing your insights. The question was from a year ago (March 2017) but I hope it helps other people who are reading the comments. In my NGO we opted for Hubspot (free...) and so far we are happy about it. I spent quite some time trying Insightly and I loved it but our Directors ended up not choosing it because of the free alternative. Wishing all of you the best.
