I'm building a platform-as-a-service for analytics and data science. This platform could power a for-free platform with publicly available data already loaded that prospective analysts, data scientists, and data engineers could use to learn their skills and practice.
I'd like to find sources of grants to develop and operate this. I think of this as post-secondary education or e-learning for adults in general. I'm having trouble. Any ideas?
What's the size of the grant you're seeking? How big is your team?
Hi Alyssa, I tried to private message you. Can you reach out on LinkedIn, maybe?
@Waleed: Ideally, we are seeking US $350K for 6 months to get us to a platform usable by students. The team is 3: myself as a pure back-end engineer, a full-stack engineer leaning hard into UX/UI, and a non-technical contributor who would be focused on documentation and guiding usability requirements from a layperson's perspective. There are intermediate milestones we could hit for less capital in less time.
Try Stanford and MIT. Or see if you can team up with some of the popular learning platforms.
