Why don't you try to create an account on buzzsumo and look up content in your niche you will know whose content is shared the most. Try out buzzsumo.

Hope it helps :)

Just a piece of advice: vet them thoroughly! The vast majority of "influencers" and the like are NOT marketing professionals, so you might just end up throwing your money out the window.

If you want to use them, you need to know about their followers: who are the people that are following them? how old are they? where do they live? how often do they interact with the influencer? how many they are? how often do they re-share the influencer's content? etc...

Then, based on your business, if they are in your target group , in your target location, etc; only then should you start to talk to the influencer and start to negotiate a partnership. That partnership should be very clearly defined - what is the service that they provide? How often do they provide that service? based on what success KPI are they being evaluated? etc...

If you don't do that and the influencer cannot provide you such information and/or KPI - you'll be investing money, without knowing ewhat benefit it will bring you, so ultimately it will be a waste.

Good luck!

Great answers here. I would add look at their engagement. How many people are engaging with their posts on all their social platforms?

Good read: https://powerdigitalmarketing.com/blog/why-all-social-media-influencers-arent-influential/

Remember, that the best influencers are almost always media. As consumers wise-up to the fact that bloggers and social personalities are paid, the credibility that traditional media brings is still the most powerful.

There are plenty of digital agencies now that manage and coordinate campaigns with microinfluencers (< 100K followers) and influencers (>100K).

Some of them work worldwide, but I am sure that with a quick search you will find one focused on your market/region or niche, but here is one list anyways...

There are a variety of paid services/sites that will help you connect with influencers, for example Influicity. Meltwater is another PR service that let's you track mentions of your company, your competitors and other terms, and provides all the contact info for reporters, bloggers and influencers. I know there are many others like these at varying costs. The free alternative is to just reach out to each one in which you are interested through there Facebook, Instagram or YouTube page and hope they respond. You may also want to check out the VidCon convention that occurs every June in LA, which is focused exclusively on influencers.

@Mukund Kolhatkar, i have looked at buzzsumo, but i haven't found any website that focuses on the influencers of Indian market. Do you know any website active in the Asian region/Indian region?
