We are a startup based in Silicon Valley, after a year of development work, we just launched a new app called Princle One. The purpose of the the app is to help schools build a trusted and engaging community for teachers, staff, students and parent. We hope to help schools greatly improve their mobile productivity on a daily basis: https://princleone.app.link/P8TtiuIirG
We contacted some schools and received positive response and we want to reach out to more schools. What are the best communication channels or platforms we can leverage to get connected to school principals or their administrative offices?
.In addition to the above answers, I think the real target would be achieved with personal connection. Besides 2000 emails, I would have done the following things to reach the schools: 1. Look into my network to find some mutual connections with some schools, same things for the rest of the team members 2. Try to prepare a list of 15 schools with personal connection which would give me access. 3. Approach them with the help of the contact. 4. Ask for half an hour of time during lunch to present the app and its functionality. 5. Ask them for their inputs to make it better. 6. Make follow up meet ups to showcase the improved version even if it is small improvisation. 7. Ask for trial. 8. Start selling process 9. Ask for referrals 10. Spread the news of the successful acquisition to rest 2000 email database.

I happened to conduct an online survey across Primary/Secondary and Higher Education segment recently for one of our market research study in US, which was on understanding the feasibility of an edu app. The sample size was about 500 for which we created a database of more than 2000 odd contacts comprising of school principals/administrators/ Superintendent, etc. The database consisted of all details but primary mode of contact was through email and phone follow-up (mostly offc no).
So, if you are looking for email/phone contact, I can get you the details for more than 2000 contacts.
Hi Xiaojun,
I may be able to help - as the owner of Appency, an app marketing firm, as well as the entrepreneur around STEMtrunk and a graduate/fellow of the 4.0 Schools Educational Entrepreneur program I am in a uniquely qualified place to deal with the intersection of apps and education.
The first thing to know, is that school administrators are a tight knit bunch. If you can get a few using it, it can go a long way to starting some word of mouth. The second thing to know is that teachers / administrators attend a lot of conferences. Conferences can be a great place to speak with them directly about your product or service. There are a number of educational blogs and podcasts as well that you should be looking a for PR, and advertisements can be targeted to job title on a number of platforms.
I would be happy to chat more - please email me at aaron@appency.com
