How do you find relevant blogs to offer them a guest post?

Hi,

I want to get more traffic on my blog. So, I am thinking about guestblogging. But I find it difficult to find relevant blogs. How do you I find out which one is better for getting more traffic? They ususally do not have post views revealed. So how do I recognize that particular blog is the best and should invest my time into it?

The only free tools I know that you may need here are

www.spyonweb.com and

www.similarweb.com

Type in an URL and you see all the stats, including number of visitors.

You may also be interested in using www.socialmention.com for your venture.

Applying the "link" function in Google search may also be helpful, although this is less helpful to me than the above.

There are also many tools available for money, but this is a more comprehensive list anyway.

Hope that helps.

Have you tried to find companies in your niche with a good social following ? Podcasts are also an interesting way to go. But all these methods require a lot of time and sometimes even money. Or you could try out Quora and be active there, people will upvote, check your profile then go to your blog

Have you tried writing for "writer access"? Also, you can apply as a volunteer contributor to any number of magazines and web publications. You just have to successfully pitch them on your article concept and past experience.
