I’m currently in the market and looking for a good opportunity to invest some of my savings. Ideally I would like to find a project in Los Angeles where I can invest and get partially involved in. I can spend the winters in LA and work remotely during the summers.I am a native Spanish speaker and my English fluent. I have multicultural education and career, having studied in several countries and worked in quite a few as well.
I am open to most fields as long as I like the product and the people and I can be a good asset.
If you know of something that may fit what I’m looking for I would love to know about it. Additionally if you can give me any leads to do some research on my own I would really appreciate it.
Best personal regard
Hello Antonio, Please contact me to learn about my patented technology, corporate partners, (Arrow Electronics, I.B.M., AT&T, IGG) team and more importantly, I'm seeking a Cofounder who invests and becomes part of my board. David@getsmartproductsllc.com
What do you think about a social platform that offers free advertising? With additional features and options to be added to help businesses drive traffic to their stores and to increase user base and user engagement? I’ve work on this idea for some time now and I have a business plan and an execution plan as well. I’m currently looking for a couple developers to create an mvp and to turn this idea into a product. Message me on here if you’re interested. I’m not from LA though, I’m from Pittsburgh.
The recommendations made a solid, but it depends on how much you're interested in investing and your expectations.
I'd be happy to tell you what we're doing with Rankipedia if you're interested. Please contact me here if you'd like.
Want to bring a startup to L.A.? https://cahootify.com
Try getting in touch with local accelerators, chapters, University entrepreneurial clubs,VCs.
Platforms like launchrock, cofounders lab and even apps like crowdcube get you connected digitally.
You can explore the Government funded accelerators and programmes or even those initiated by the Government. In your case you can think of the Spanish government's policies and investment in LA and those of LA's in Spain. (state rules of LA would apply)
If there is any particular area you are interested in to invest in, then read up on it and follow the news on the same.
All the best.
My recommendation is to choose a platform for small investors or micro-lending that already has a reputation and tools for matching you with opportunities. Although I have no direct experience, the one I run into often is AngelList.
A micro-lending site called Kiva is one that some friends of mine have used in the past.
Remember that you may need to prove your qualifications as an investor.
I think it would be advisable to first narrow down your market scope and decide which sectors you are looking to invest in as it could really take you 'down the rabbit hole'. Choosing areas of passion and interest is always a good starting point.
Hi Antonio, I'm working on an interesting project called Crowdfounder, http://crowdfounder.co/ and have a couple of its projects getting underway. Would you be open to chatting? firstname.lastname@example.org
I'm out of Milwaukee, WI though FYI
I am an experienced VC and Angel Investor and I think the best way to get good start ups in LA is to go platforms like Angelist and the Funders Club and look for some impressive startups that need funding and most of this project are Innovative and purposely lucrative.
Thats is where We at ICOFARM ANGELS come in we invest in your start up we are planning on building a massive portfolio of not just profitable compies but also companies that are tailored to change the world and make it a better place, making innovation accessible to the most remote areas of the world, if you have an Idea you think can change the world and you need funding, you can email me at email@example.com
And we'll discuss if our ideas match, if it does my company wouldn't hesitate to fund.
