Favorite DIY landing page creation tool?

Edward M. Yang

July 7th, 2015

I'm a bit dizzy from all the landing page creation tools out there.

Looking for something simple that can be integrated with Aweber or other email systems.

Anyone have success using any particular tools?

Instapage is pretty simple to use and integrates with Aweber, Mail Chimp, Constant Contact and a few others.

The two best in my opinion are Instapages.com and leadpages.net however I did find an alternative that looked very interesting as the price was a one time price instead of monthly and it was called LandingPageMonkey.com - Finally the most comprehensive one I found, and the most expensive is called clickfunnels.com Hope this helps.

Edward - I think the lesson here is... there are A LOT of them.

In my experience with my clients, most of them get bogged down in the decision process because there are a million and a half options. I always say this...

Make a list of 5-10. Look at each for 5 minutes. Choose 3 to try. Then test each one for 30 minutes, cancelling the ones you don't like.

You'll end up with 1 you like, after only 3 hours or so. And it's one you'll likely keep for awhile since you tested several.

I build funnels for clients, so have used a bunch to try them out. My "go to" tools are...
  1. OptimizePress and LeadPages for page creation
  2. Clickfunnels is also good
  3. Stealth Seminar for automated webinars
Hope that helps!

Check out instapage. Definitely the cheapest I've found. Pretty easy to use, and they support responsive pages. There are some inconsistencies with their reporting, but they support google analytics code so you can track performance from a trusted source as well. I'm running close to 1M uniques a month to my landing pages with them. Happy to help you get set up or offer a second set of eyes as needed.

Hi Edward (and everyone on the thread).

Wanted to chime in with some details.
Full disclosure, I'm a co-founder of Unbounce - The Landing Page Builder for Professional Marketers.

Instead of describing Unbounce from my perspective, I thought it would be more transparent and fair to allow someone to describe it on my behalf.

This description/review comes from someone researching landing page builders for a book.

Hope that's helpful!

I love WP Profit Builder. Much more flexible than Leadpages.

I use Lead Pages. It doesn't integrate fully with website on built on Weebly however. I think it works best with Word Press, but I've managed to make it work for me.
