I want to build a platform where baking and cooking influencers can host live classes online with anyone.
Occasionally we will also host IRL workshops in partnership with influencers or cooking schools.
So there are 3 services, ranging from most affordable to expensive
Live videos and interaction
IRL cooking sessions at a chosen venue
1. Does this already exist
2. What other forms of revenue/services can we offer or branch into?
What does your research show regarding what already exists? This is for you to do in your research and opportunity evaluation. Then you find out what the competition is and figure out your differentiation factor and determine whether or not you want to compete in the market place.
I agree with David. Your foundational research should be informing you, not a random audience. This is not foodtech, this is edutech, the proposed subject is food. But you aren't a foodtech business teaching cooking online, you're an educator at most or content publisher at least.
There have been a lot of cooking classes offered in many formats over the centuries. What makes people register/pay, and what do they get out of it that makes them return? When you can answer these questions you have a starting path to determining whether online can accomplish those two things and with whom.
