Does anyone have suggestions on a loose template for Technical Statement of Work?

I'm a non-technical co-founder outsourcing our MVP to a developer and am crafting the Exhibit A / SOW for our contract. Looking for any rough templates for technical SOWs. Am familiar with design SOWs, not technical and do not want to miss anything. Thanks!

DM me and I can send you ones that we've used but a couple of best practices:

1. Penalize for missing deadlines and reward for beating them

2. Don't pay for bug fixes

3. Be VERY careful of the overlays (PM, Architect, QA, etc) those hours add up and are usually not necessary if you have a technical co-founder or are one.

4. Make sure you outline YOUR development process if you have one

Sure. I have a boilerplate SOW that I can share. Send me a direct message.

There are a lot more moving parts than a simple SOW....

The contract... and what is missing can break your business.

Attorneys know the law... But, very few know all of the pitfalls with outsourced development.

Since you are non-technical co-founder and funded, I'd highly recommend investing money in hiring someone to be "in your corner" to review everything... and manage the project.

This is an investment that will come back to you... potentially many times over.

If you choose to go it alone as a non-technical co-founder, you simply don't know what you don't know... That can be lethal in business.
