CRM for high-touch eCommerce company?

I'm looking for a CRM for my high-touch eCommerce company. I'd like to keep track of all correspondence with customers, vendors, and strategic partners on one platform. I know Zoho CRM has a BCC drop box but it doesn't keep track of incoming messages. 

Any ideas?

Here are some other feature's we're looking for:

-Create different types of potentials and track their lifecycle. For example, I'd like a list of all strategic partnerships in the works and also have one for sales leads. 
-Integration with Mailchimp (open to using another email provider if it's comparable).
-Integration with Wordpress.

You could start with from Salesforce.  Zapier has a pretty extensible connector that you could use on your WordPress pages to, say, funnel readers actions into Desk.  Similarly, MailChamp has a connector. 

If your business has the potential to quickly grow to a 6 or 7 digit customer customer base, the mainline Salesforce CRM platform has robust CRM and partner management capability via Communities, great integration with WordPress, MailChamp and much more via Appexchange products.  Of course, you'll pay more.  It's possible to start with Desk and graduate to Salesforce down the road, but the migration is not painless.

A potentially lower cost starting point could be Zendesk.  Their integration with WordPress has been around for a while and works well.  I've not used Mailchamp with Zendesk, but I suspect that's achievable.

There are obviously many more choices.  But going for a next round of funding with either of these brands next to your CRM capability is very safe.

I am a huge fan of Salesforce. They have a large app marketplace for features they don't handle and have a very flexible setup to allow you to customize it to your needs. I have used it at the last 5 startups I have helped spin up with SFDC as a core component of the sales management and sales operations programs. Their lead management and tracking is pretty robust too, again with a large set of third party apps to get you pretty much whatever  you need. TCO is high if you have LOT's of employees using it. $1200 a year per seat for Enterprise but that gives you a lot of leeway in terms of numbers of objects, storage and customization.

Pipedrive is worth a look. Easy to create multiple types of deals. Great email integration. More affordable than Salesforce but of course less powerful work flow automation.

Here's the big bugaboo about CRM's (and I've had a LOT of experience with a number of these solutions/companies).  Unless the CRM company can come ONSITE and help/teach your employees to learn how to navigate and implement their solution.........RUN, DON'T WALK away from said company.  Their technology, along with your data have to learn how to sink together in one cohesive solution...not for them, but for YOU AND YOUR TEAM.  This is vitally important for you and your company.  If you choose to go another route, it won't make a difference, because you will be headed down the long, long black hole of implementation hell.

There is Salesforce and then everything else. Yep, expensive. There is a reason. It works and you can hire/buy any answer or help you will ever need.

For startups on a tight budget I have used and like both Highrise and Insightly (great if you are using gmail and/or google apps for your domain).

However, as others have pointed out, there are a lot of details to work through to select the best CRM for you. Know that you need a license/seat for everyone that talks to or emails customers. Everyone else can be sent email reports or query the CRM via an agent or API as needed. There are also some neat reporting tools like easy-insight dot com for a monthly fee.

Hello Roman, You can try Hubspot with Hubspot CRM. If you are using Magento for e-commerce you can get plugins. If custom solution then integration can be done using Hubspot API.
