Did you face that experience when most of your applicants apply without reading the on-line ad(s) properly?
Looks like most of our applicants continuously mixing up 3 positions:
freelancing, employment and co-founding.
What do you think about it?
The worst part about the hiring process is finding out the majority of applicants do not qualify. Some are so desperate for a job, they're bombarding every job ad with their resume.
I find that more people are offering freelance work more than anything. Especially on this site. You get people advertising their services in the discussion forum, its really unprofessional.
Another day I post a job offer on Facebook add. Facebook as an option that add a button to apply for the job.
I wrote on the job description:
"Send an e-mail to ... with you CV"
99% of people just clicked on the button. Only 1% have sent the CV how was requested.
Seems like the best way to filter 99% of the applicants is writing something on the end of the text :)
